Riki Millard LL.B
Legal Practitioner Director
Riki is the Legal Practitioner Director of BLP. Riki has over 20 years’ experience within the legal industry. After many years working within the legal industry in a variety of capacities, Riki completed her law degree in 2006. She was admitted as a Legal Practitioner to the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia in 2007.
At the time of admission, Riki was working in a medium-sized law firm on the Gold Coast where she became an Associate. Riki is a member of the Queensland Law Society and the Boonah Chamber of Commerce.
In 2015, Riki and her husband relocated to a cattle property at Tamrookum Creek (via Rathdowney), where she fell in love with rural life and the rural community. Her passion for rural law followed and she took over the Boonah Law Practice where she utilises her qualifications to enrich the clients she serves.
Riki is a keen breeder of beef cattle, sheep and goats. She has a menagerie of animals on her property where she loves to spend her time when she is not working. She also loves gardening.
Jody has worked in many different areas of law however she now primarily works in Estate Administration, Wills and Powers of Attorney.
Jody’s experience and professionalism, coupled with her compassion and history in the Boonah area, continues to build trust and confidence within the community.
When she is not working, Jody enjoys reading, cooking and spending time with family and friends.
During her 45+ year career in the legal industry, Di has gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in many areas of law including wills and estates, plans and easements, conveyancing and leasing, water allocation trading, subdivisions, rezoning matters and family transfers.
Di has three adult children and two grandsons, whom she loves spending time with. She also loves cooking, gardening, knitting and crochet as well as travelling the world and going on cruises.
Loraine has lived in Boonah for 24 years. Her husband, daughter and future son-in-law all work within the Boonah township and her other daughter has relocated to Ipswich.
Loraine is an avid netballer and is the treasurer of the Fassifern Netball Association, which is also a shareholder of the Fassifern Sports Club. The Club volunteers in the local community as often as possible. Loraine also enjoys sewing, socialising and, fun fact: collecting stiletto shoes.
Mikaela does not reside in the local area however she has close connections to the area through her family, who are locals. When she isn’t visiting family or working, Mikaela relishes in caring for her animals, attending live music events, spending time at the beach and travelling.
Mylee can often be seen with her husband exploring the Scenic Rim area on their Vespas. She also loves making handmade cards, spending time in her craft room and sharing her joy for crafting with her daughters and others.
